Dot NAME Domains
Introduced in 2001, the Dot NAME generic top-level extension is the sole TLD supposed to be for personal web pages only. These domains can include personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other titles people are known by. At first, just third-level registrations were allowed, so if you wished to obtain john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also permitted. Already purchased third-level domain names remained running.
Through our company, you can register your .NAME domain for an interval between 1 and 10 years. You will have the opportunity to modify the WHOIS contacts, to park your domain, to create Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an already purchased domain to our firm if you get its EPP transfer code from the current domain service provider and we will renew it once the transfer has been finished. There are no special restrictions on who can secure a .NAME domain, but in order to keep the objective behind its establishment alive, the Registry may verify who the owner is and if there is no link between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration might be challenged.
The dot NAME universal TLD is among the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no extra cost. In this way, your .NAME domain will be recognized in your country or region with the precise spelling in your local language.
